Anoop and I are discussing about doing a Shenmue 2 walkthrough of the Japanese version and it all depends if we have time. Due out hopefully by the end of November, most of you will probably want to get your hands on a European copy of the game since it'll be a bit easier to understand via subtitles.
Those without a VGA box, there's still hope. But if they don't, you can buy a PAL-NTSC adapter from most electronic stores though last time I checked, they can run you up to fifty dollars or more depending how high a quality signal you want. Also, those that have been saving their Shenmue save to use for the now canceled US sequel, there may still be hope. We haven't tested the method - kind of hard to when you don't have the game yet - but we'll see if this is possible when the European version of the game releases in late November.

Post 7 » Fri Jan 26, pm Thanks all! I used to own the PAL version but it's gone. I prefer to play the Japanese language version with English subtitles again. Some are exact PAL rips, others have Xbox audio that don't sound very good based on samples.
