I have won gems and free weeks from the jackpot spinner. When Flash goes away next year all the Flash games with the JP spinners will be gone. You can only find a JP spinner in a Flash game. What will Pogo be using instead of tokens?
Are they rewarding anything for playing games and winning since they have stopped awarding tokens in most of the games now? Most were gems. I was in a room where the guy hit the max on the JP spinner. That bites!!! I used to tell people about Pogo all the time — Play games with friends, chance to win prizes, etc. Not anymore. Most of my friends quit Pogo a looooong time ago, anyway.
Sure do miss the good old days on there. Glad it was on video …. That was when the games had progressive jackpots Which was awesome! I could hardly believe it. Up til then, I never chatted with or knew anyone that won anything more than wallpaper.
It took longer than the 3 months they tell you to receive it…it is an electronic Amazon gift card. Very very sad that Pogo is taking the last thing left that makes Pogo such a unique site… The daily chances to win prizes…. I used to enter the Daily drawings every day but have not entered in a long time… I never won in the daily drawings but know folks who have. I do however love my badges and tokens.
In the end badges and tokens mean nothing as they are only digital representations of my pogo experience. Pogo has been my entertainment for years and years. I once won a first aid kit. The toaster and cash rewards were always a dream. Its been 20 years. Sadly like pogo I was kinda hot back then, now not so much.
Pogo is getting rid of all the things that do not cost gems to get. Seems like they must be losing money to want the gems back so fast after we buy them. I did like the jackpot spinner but never won anything but wallpaper in my 16 years on Pogo. I do think Pogo is trying to streamline and eliminate a lot of ancillary items such as tokens, spinners, minis, etc.
We may not like it all but as streaming TV and movies on mobile devices has become more popular every year so has gaming becoming even more popular on mobile devices. Streamlining a site is seemingly more essential when aiming for this goal. While a lot of us still play on desk tops and lap tops, including me, I do spend probably even more time playing on my iPad.
