We then sell that dog as a "started gun dog" and the buyer gets a great deal as the selling price never covers the cost of time and effort put into the training. We have trained many of our own dogs to some degree but have depended on professional trainers at our Shady Oaks Kennel to do most of the work.

Just thought I should fill you in on how she's doing. Gracie has doubled in size and weight! She attracts a lot of attention too. We always get commented on how beautiful she is. She loves kids and likes to play hide and seek. She's gotten her last rounds of vaccination and is very healthy. All in all, things are great! I've attached some pictures of Gracie taken a couple of weeks ago.

She's grown a lot since then, we'll send you updated pictures later too. This dog is smarter than a whip. My training is going ok with him.

As so as BB season gets over Max and I will be in the training hot and heavy. I took him out quail hunting 3 times but didn't get him into any birds. Are quail 's are still down in this part of the state. Max will be 7 months old tomorrow and is right around pounds.

He looks alot like Bullet, but I think he has Ripley's energy. We are so happy with him. I will keep you updated on how his training is going though the spring and the summer. She has taken over our hearts and the household. She is just a joy. She gets along well with our two resident cats and even found her own kitty in the backyard. Now THAT kitty has joined the household.
