Chittoor SP S Senthil Kumar, Tirupati SP CH Venkata Appala Naidu , thousands of locals from Regadapalli and nearby villages took part in the final rites of soldier Sai Teja which were performed by his father and brother who carried the deceased soldier's five-year-old son along with them while lighting the pyre.

Sai Teja's wife Syamala was inconsolable as the martyred soldier's final rites were held with full military honours at Regadapalli village in Chittoor district on Sunday.
